On Dec 15, Sanofi Pasteur, a vaccine manufacturer, issued a non-safety related recall of some of their H1N1 vaccine. This recall effected the potency of some lots of pre-filled syringes of pediatric H1N1 vaccine. None of the vaccine issued by Annapolis Pediatrics was effected by this recall.

For more information on this recall, please visit the CDC website.

Anne Arundel County H1N1 Clinics
November 20, 2009

We are sending this information as a courtesy to our Anne Arundel County patients.

This message pertains to
H1N1 Flu Clinics being run by
Anne Arundel County.

Anne Arundel County Department of Health has begun advertising several upcoming H1N1 clinics that will be run at several locations. The first clinic is tomorrow, Saturday, Nov 21 at Anne Arundel Community College. More will follow at several county high schools.

The County has announced that these free clinics are targeted to people within one of the priority groups for vaccination, which includes all children aged 6 months to 24 years.

For information on these clinics, please visit the Anne Arundel County Department of Health website Flu Information Page.

Annapolis Pediatrics has no additional Flu Clinics to announce at this time, but we hope to continue to vaccinate all our patients as we receive additional supplies. Due to the extremely limited supply of H1N1 vaccine, we reiterate that patients who are able to receive vaccine through another source, including health departments, please do so. And most importantly, we do not have control over this procedure.

We will do our best to vaccinate as many of our patients as we have vaccine for and do it as quickly as our staffing and physical space allows. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
