Charles Parmele, M.D.

Since joining Annapolis Pediatrics in 2001, Dr. Parmele has enjoyed teaching children and their families healthy habits they can use for the rest of their lives. Dr. Parmele received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cornell University. He went to medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and did his residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. After completing his residency, he stayed an extra year to supervise the residency program as Chief Resident.

Dr. Parmele is Board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1998 Dr. Parmele received the Farkas Award for excellence in resident teaching.

Dr. Parmele is married and has two young children. He enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking and soccer. He also likes learning about the Greek language and has traveled extensively in Greece.
