Gwyn Reece, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, comes with enthusiasm and excitement to Annapolis Pediatrics from the University of Maryland’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where she spent 5 years at the bedside caring for critically ill children. Ms. Reece received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Ms. Reece has also enjoyed working with children on the burn/trauma unit at Children’s National Medical Center and at a pediatric HIV clinic at the University of Maryland.

Ms. Reece is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, a nursing honor society. Ms. Reece enjoys teaching Pediatric Advanced Life Support to healthcare providers through the Baltimore Safe Kids/Maryland Cares Program at the University of Maryland. She is actively involved in the Johns Hopkins’ Nurses Alumni Association, where she serves as the Class Correspondent.

Ms. Reece lives in Columbia with her husband, Josh, and her two children, Kate & Andrew. In her free time, she likes to scuba dive, figure skate, sing karaoke, and travel.
