Lactation Services

Annapolis Pediatrics is a Breastfeeding-Friendly Healthcare Provider and a recipient of the IBCLC Care Award.

We are committed to providing the resources and information for all mothers who decide to breastfeed.

With three International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) on staff, two of whom are also Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (CPNP-PC) and one who is a Registered Nurse (RN), we are offer to see patients daily and offer a variety of breastfeeding services

We offer daily Lactation Visits. Talk to your provider or call to schedule a lactation specific visit (after your first newborn visit) to meet with one of our Lactation Consultants.

What to Expect at a Lactation Visit:

For expectant parents, we offer monthly Baby Basics classes with a portion of the class led by one of our Lactation Consultants specifically with breastfeeding information and a Q&A.

For new moms and patients at Annapolis Pediatrics, we offer a free monthly in-person Breastfeeding Support Group and daily private lactation appointments with our Board Certified Lactation Consultants.

Alicyn loves anything on the water, especially crabbing and swimming. She also likes to garden and cook, as well as spend time with her family.

Jen enjoys spending time with her kids and her family. She loves horses and horse-back riding. She also loves traveling, especially to the beach!

Meaghan lives in Arnold with her husband, three children and chocolate lab.  She enjoys boating on the Magothy River with her family and friends, watching her children on sports fields or on stage, spending time at the beach and exploring different National Parks during her family’s vacation time.  


"My goal is to support breastfeeding families on their journey, wherever they may be along the way. I truly believe having support and encouragement from beginning to end fosters confidence and creates positive outcomes for the breastfeeding family. My hope is that by providing individualized care plans along with evidence-based resources, families will feel more equipped to reach their breastfeeding goals."
